The first Issue of IRIMC English Newsletter released and distributed to the registered members of Iranian Medical Council as well as Iranian Health Officials, the officials of foreign embassies in Tehran and health stakeholders.

Publishing the English Newsletter is a part of IRIMC global strategies rooted in Dr. Zali’s doctrine which is global partnership for health.

Dr. Naghavi, Director of International Affairs and Head of IRIMC Department of International Education & Research, is the Editor-In-Chief of IRIMC English Newsletter.

“As Medical Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran is nation's largest organization in the field of medicine which is the representatives of almost all Iranian health care professionals, it is highly crucial to be an active part in international community of health professions. Therefore it can make a channel between Iranian health care professionals and their counterparts around the globe for bringing medical, dental and pharmaceutical professionals close together to interchange of scientific information. This will be led to forge an effective international partnerships in boosting health standards nationwide and worldwide. Consequently, establishing IRIMC Department of International Affairs and setting up its broadcasting media was quite crucial.

Dr. Zali's doctrine about global partnership for health was highly welcomed by Iranian health care professionals and it was my pleasure to be joined in this program.” Dr. Naghavi remarked..

IRIMC President paid tribute to IRIMC previous presidents and renowned health care professionals who had been working with the Medical Council to promote the professional & ethical standards of this organization and said:” I would like to take this opportunity to thank my colleagues in this department because of their earnest efforts to make the department a complete success. I do ask all of IRIMC member colleagues to share their points of view with us to flourish more. As a Medical Council of high international repute would significantly facilitate the interchange of science in the field of medicine and would improve national medical and dental practice to a more excellent level.”
