World Heart Day is celebrated every year on 29 September
World Heart Day, held on September 29 that is intended to increase public awareness of cardiovascular diseases, including their prevention and their global impact.

Created by the World Heart Federation, World Heart Day raises awareness of the fight against cardiovascular disease (CVD) which is the world’s leading cause of death claiming 17.9 million lives each year, and promotes the importance of heart-healthy lifestyle and highlights the actions that individuals can take to prevent and control CVD.
